I finally got around to taking pictures of our bedroom that recently got a mini-makeover. I had earlier talked about upholstering the existing white headboard in a patterned fabric in this post and the new rug that I got for a steal here. Well it all worked out, I got some pretty fabric on sale from our local Hancock store and the upholstering part was super easy cos the husband did it 
. I bought some new pillow covers and a throw pillow from target, rearranged the furniture a bit, styled it all up and voilà we now have cheery bedroom for less than $100.

Still to do are curtains and a chair or a bean bag for the corner near the window. For the curtains, I’m thinking DIY striped curtains like this one. But it will be a while before I get to it, for now I am enjoying the prettied up space.
